Oman Improves Credit Rating

Good news coming from Oman this week.

Credit agencies increased Oman's credit rating in 2022 and changed their outlook to be more positive because of the government's good financial planning and careful actions.

In 2022, S&P upgraded Oman's credit rating and Moody's changed its outlook for the country from "stable" to "positive." Both agencies warned that there could be an economic crisis that would lower oil prices and hurt Oman's economy.

​The Ministry of Finance thinks it is important to keep working on the plan to be ready for financial problems in the future.
